Isoform 3Catalyzes ATP-dependent efflux of cholesterol and taurocholate (PubMed:29300488). Interaction with ABCA1 potentiates cholesterol efflux to lipid-free APOA1, which regulates high-density lipoprotein cholesterol levels (PubMed:28882873).
